Here we have a perfect example of why I use paint for most of my repairs, when color matching is a priority for the overall outcome of the job. When my customer bought this boat the electronics were outdated and he could not find new equipment the same size to fill the hole, in comes fiberglass repair. Unfortunately, his local shop did not do a very good job finishing their work, the color was way off. His first call to me was about color matching and I said we have a really good chance of getting an exact color.
